Tsurphu Dupon Dechen Rinpoche

The second Tsurphu Dechen Rinpoche. It was photographed in Oct 2005 in Mirik in India.

The first Tsurphu Dechen Rinpoche was the retreat master of Tsurphu for many years. In 80's Rinpoche rebuilt a kagyu monastery in Ladak in India. The 16th Karmapa sent Rinpoche back to Tsurphu on 80's and Rinpoche could welcome the 17th Karmapa returned back to Tsurphu in 1992. He companied His Holiness the 17th Karmapa for several yesr in Tsurphu untill he past away in 1998.

The second Tsurphu Dechen Rinpoche was born in 2000 in Ladak India, and was recognized by His Holiness the 17th Karmapa in Aug. 2003. In the moment, the second Tsurphu Dechen Rinpoche is learning in Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim India
